What will My Child Learn?

All children will take part in a number of sessions used regularly on academies at professional clubs, as well as Sessions that we have taken part as players.

The main aim of each course is develop a child’s confidence and technical ability. A large part of each course is ball manipulation, including learning various skills & turns such as Step Overs, Stop Turns, Inside / Outside Drag Back Turn, Cruyff Turns, Inside / Outside Hook and many more.

Sessions / Drills during the week will range from Passing, Dribbling, Receiving the Ball, Movement with and without a Football, as well as various Finishing / Shooting Sessions.

All games are Small Sided Games (SSG), ranging from 2 v 2, 3 v 3, 4 v 4 and 5 v 5.  Limiting the number of players during the game will enable children to have more touches of the Football.

All Sessions / Drills will vary dependant on the age / ability of children attending the course.

From 10.00am – 12.00pm each day, children will be taking part in various Sessions and Drills that incorporate Receiving the Ball, Passing, Movement, Dribbling, Turns & First Touch.

From 1.00pm – 3.00pm each day, children will then take part in various Shooting / Finishing Sessions, as well as Small Sided Games that will differ each day.
